The tag mapping node allows the manipulation of DICOM tags on the fly as the data is streamed through the network.
“Set Tag” sets the specified tag to either a fixed value or a value from another tag. The setting of the tag can be conditional based on either the calling or called AET and the current value of the tag.
“Swap Tag” option simply swaps the values contained in two tags. This can also be conditional on either AET or the current value of the tag being modified.
“Edit Tag” allows the tag value to be modified such that the original value is either prefixed or suffixed.
“Delete Tag” allows a tag or group of tags to be removed from the header based upon the value of another tag. The deletion can also be conditional on AET.
“Maths Tag” allows a tag to be mathematically operated on. There are specific operations that can be applied.
